Interviewing people is my secret passion! I love to put on my everywoman clothes and ask the burning questions that we all have to the people who know the answers — and then share my findings with the world.
A long, long time ago I interviewed many of the heads of the world’s religions at a wonderful gathering in Chicago called “The Parliament of the World’s Religions”. You see, 100 years before that gathering, Chicago hosted the World’s Fair. The most attended event at that fair was the Parliament. It was the first time that many people have ever been exposed to Eastern, Asian and African ways of worship, and the stories of how the participants arrived from the far-flung corners of the earth is a story inside a story.
In a completely unexpected fluke of the stars, I — a single mother with four children and no real job — wound up at the centennial anniversary of that event for 4 days, interviewing some of the most prominent religious icons of our time for a documentary. I left the experience completely changed.
But now — now that’s all in the past. I have been invited to a show on Blog Talk Radio to be the interviewee!! The show is “Tarot Talk” and is hosted by a really wonderful woman I met on Twitter named Raven.
So — the date for my interview is next Sunday, February 1, and the time is Noon, Central time. There is a chat room that is open during the show, plus you can call in. We’re even doing mini-readings in the second half of the show. So drop in and give me some moral support…..my knees are already shaking!!
